Today, Beano Studios announced the appointment of Tim Searle to the newly created role of ‘Head of Animation’. In this role Tim will creatively direct and develop all of Beano Studios’ animated content.

Tim has worked in animation for over 25 years and joins from CBBC where he served as Executive Producer of Animation, and Executive Producer of Danger Mouse. Previous roles include Series Director of Mr Bean at Tiger Aspect where he also developed a number of projects as Creative Director for Kids & Animation. Tim has produced animation and graphics for a wide range of comedy shows including Have I Got News For You and worked alongside Steve Coogan and Henry Normal at Baby Cow Animation.
In 2017 Beano Studios launched Dennis & Gnasher Unleashed! with CBBC which went on to become the highest rate show during launch against 6-12yrs and top 10 show for kids across all channels. The show has since been picked up internationally with deals across all major PSB’s in Europe and across the globe including broadcasters such as Super RTL, France Télévsions, Svergies, TVE and ABC Kids.
